'Final Stage' of the Dragon Quest: Adventure of Dai Xross Blade manga has begun.

Dragon Quest: Dai no Daibken: Xross Blade (also known as Dragon Quest: Adventure of Dai Xross Blade; "Xross" is pronounced "cross") spinoff manga by Yoshikazu Amami will enter its final stage in the magazine's July issue, which will be released on June 2.

The protagonist of the manga is Yki Shiroi, a young guy who aspires to be a hero but lacks the necessary skills. He goes into another dimension while trying to save Meiro, a stunning girl, but there he finds himself up against a slime. Dai emerges out of nowhere, and their bonding adventure starts.

In October 2020, Amami published the comic in Saiky Jump. The fifth volume of the manga's compilation book was released by Shueisha on April 4.

From 1989 through 1996, Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai, a 37-volume manga by Shueisha, appeared in Weekly Shonen Jump. Previously, the manga served as the basis for three short anime films that debuted in July 1991, March 1992, and July 1992, as well as a 46-episode anime series that aired between 1991 and 1992.

The most recent anime version of the manga debuted in October of that year. In October 2022, the 100th and last episode of the anime aired. The anime was shown live on Hulu and Crunchyroll as it was in Japan. The English dub of the anime is available on Hoopla.

The manga also inspired several video game adaptations
