The assistant director is Keisuke Ide. In addition to writing the scripts with Tetsuya Yamada (Knights of Sidonia), Seshita, Kenta Ihara (Uncle From Another World, Saga of Tanya the Evil), and Hiroshi Seko (Mob Psycho 100) are in charge of the series' composition. The character designs are being created by Atsushi Tamura (Weathering With You, Mobile Suit Gundam: Cucuruz Doan's Island). The monsters are being created by manga artist Kan Takahama (Nyx no Lantern, Heisei Gamera movie). The music is being written by Shji Katayama (Knights of Sidonia: Love Woven in the Stars). The sound director is Yoshikazu Iwanami. Line director Yuichi Ishima is in charge. The anime's closing theme song is performed by the rock group WANIMA.
On Kadokawa's Young Ace Up website, a manga adaptation of the anime will make its premiere. The anime's director, Hiroyuki Seshita, will also adapt a novel.
In Daiei's 1965 picture Daikaij Gamera (Gamera the Giant Monster), the enormous, fire-breathing turtle monster Gamera makes his screen debut. The movie was made by Daiei to compete with TOHO's equally successful Godzilla. Chiisaki Ysha-tachi "Gamera" (Gamera the Brave), the 12th and most recent movie in the series, came out in 2006.
