Manga UP! gives the plot's synopsis:
Imagine a youngster who had passed away reappearing inexplicably and maintaining her previous appearance. But what if a shape-shifting tanuki was responsible for everything? This isn't a get-together. She is a fake. Yet her parents continue to believe the sour-sweet lie.
The author of "My Clueless First Friend" brings you a moving tale of loss and desire.
