Pickle Story opens the season in July, and "Father VS Son Saga" premieres on August 24.
The second season trailer for Baki Hanma, the anime adaptation of Keisuke Itagaki's manga Hanma Baki - Son of Ogre, was released by TMS on Wednesday. The anime's "The Father VS Son Saga" tale will premiere on August 24, with the "Tale of Pickle & The Pickle War Saga" story making its global Netflix debut on July 26. The teaser also reveals and previews the second season's theme song, introduces new cast members, and announces the anime's worldwide premiere date.
Pickle, a warrior from a long-gone, prehistoric era, is voiced by Takeshi Kusao. Dr. Albert Payne, a scientist who revived Pickle, is voiced by Nobuo Tobita.
The Beast," the opening theme tune, is performed by the Wagakki Band. "Wilder," the closing theme song by UPSTART, is performed. The cast and crew from the first season of the anime are back.
The Netflix original series Baki: Dai Raitaisai-hen's sequel, Baki Hanma, is the third Baki installment. All 12 episodes of the anime were released on Netflix in September 2021.

The new anime adaptation of the manga series Baki (New Grappler Baki: In Search of Our Strongest Hero) by Keisuke Itagaki made its Japanese Netflix premiere in June 2018 and ran for 26 episodes until wrapping up in December 2018. Outside of Japan, Netflix released the first 13 episodes in December 2018, and the second half of the first season in March 2019.
The entire Baki: Dai Raitaisai-hen anime then had its global Netflix debut in June 2020.
