The English dub of the anime Demon Slayer: Swordsmith Village Arc debuts on May 28.

 On May 28 at 1:30 p.m. PDT/4:30 p.m. EDT, Crunchyroll will premiere the English dub for the television anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc (Kimetsu no Yaiba: Katanakaji no Sato-Hen). A trailer for the dub is being streamed on Crunchyroll.


The English dub cast includes:

  • Zach Aguilar as Tanjiro Kamado
  • Abby Trott as Nezuko Kamado
  • Aleks Le as Zenitsu Agatsuma
  • Bryce Papenbrook as Inosuke Hashibira
  • Griffin Burns as Muichiro Tokito
  • Kira Buckland as Mitsuri Kanroji
  • Zeno Robinson as Genya
  • Christopher Corey Smith (also known as Christopher Smith) as Hantengu
  • Brent Mukai as Gyokko

The anime made its debut on Fuji TV with a one-hour special on April 9 at 11:55 p.m. JST. Two specials for the previous Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc anime broadcast on April 1 and April 8 prior to the start of the current arc.

As the anime airs, it is being streamed on Crunchyroll. It is also creating dubs for the anime in Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, and Hindi in addition to English.


On February 3, 418 theaters in Japan began showing the anime in a theatrical setting. The first episode of the Swordsmith Village Arc and episodes 10 and 11 of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc were shown. Over 95 nations and territories had theatrical showings of the films.
The primary cast, the animation studio ufotable, character designer and chief animation director Akira Matsushima, and the director Haruo Sotozaki are all back for the new arc.

In April 2019, the first television adaptation of Koyoharu Gotouge's Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba manga debuted. The anime was licensed by Aniplex of America, which also aired it on Hulu, Crunchyroll, and Funimation. The television anime made its debut on Adult Swim's Toonami schedule in October 2019.

The Mugen Train anime film The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba premiered in Japan in October 2020. The movie is streaming on Funimation and Crunchyroll.

The seven-episode Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train Arc, which adapts the Mugen Train movie, debuted in October 2021. After that, a one-hour special of The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc (Kimetsu no Yaiba: Ykaku-hen) television anime debuted in December 2021. The anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train Arc and Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc were both aired on Funimation and Crunchyroll.
