On May 26, Gakuto Coda's 'Missing' Novels will receive new manga.

Last Wednesday, it was revealed in the June issue of Kadokawa's Dengeki Maoh magazine that Hino Anzu will publish a new manga on May 26 based on the Missing novel series by Gakuto Coda.

The first three volumes of Rei Mutsuki's debut manga adaptation were published by Tokyopop, and the publisher explains the plot as follows:

Kyoichi Utsume was abducted as a child but miraculously found his way back to our planet. He's a lonesome high school student known for wearing all-black clothing, having a haughty demeanor, and having a vast knowledge of the occult. When he finally meets her, the relationship between the two worlds is forever altered.

From 2001 to 2005, Coda published the novel series in 13 volumes with illustrations by Shin Midorikawa. In 2020 to 2022, Kadokawa published a new edition of the series with fresh cover art created by Mai Hanamura. Three volumes of Mutsuki's Missing: Kamikakushi no Monogatari manga adaption appeared in Kadokawa's Dengeki HP magazine in 2005.
