New Video Previews for Season 2 of the anime Jujutsu Kaisen Song from Tatsuya Kitani's Opening

On July 6, the season adapting the "Kaigyoku/Gyokusetsu" and "Shibuya Incident" arcs debuts.

A new promotional video and character images for the second season of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime were shown at the MAPPA Stage 2023 event on Sunday. The opening theme music for the program, "Ao no Sumika" (Blue House), by Tatsuya Kitani, is featured in the video.

The first episode of the season will air on MBS, TBS, and 28 associated networks on July 6. The anime's director will now be Shta Goshozono (Jujutsu Kaisen episode 8, 17 director). Takehito Koyasu plays Toji Fushiguro, and Anna Nagase plays Riko Amanai in the new cast.
The "Akari" (Lantern) closing theme song is sung by Soushi Sakiyama.

The second season will continue continuously during two cours (quarters of a year), totaling six months. Both the "Kaigyoku/Gyokusetsu" and "Shibuya Incident" arcs of Gege Akutami's original manga will be adapted for the anime.

There were 24 episodes of the Jujutsu Kaisen television anime, which debuted in October 2020. As the anime aired in Japan, Crunchyroll broadcast it outside of Asia. It also broadcast dubs in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, and German.

The anime movie Jujutsu Kaisen 0 premiered in Japan in December 2021, and it debuted in the United States and Canada in March 2022 with English subtitles and a dub.

In March 2018, Gege Akutami published the manga's first issue in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump publication. The manga is being printed and published digitally by Viz Media, and it is also being published digitally by Shueisha through its MANGA Plus service.

The Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie is based on the prequel narrative from the manga series Jujutsu Kaisen 0: Tokyo Prefectural Jujutsu High School by Gege Akutami.
